From an empty room to a full one
The empty room
Online, every shop looks empty.
In a real shop you see other people trying, buying, queuing. Online a visitor sees nobody, so every doubt feels like a reason to leave. The activity is there. It is just invisible.
A recent sales popup turns your real orders into a small, friendly signal: someone like me bought this, minutes ago. The data comes from your store webhook or the forms on your own pages, never from a random generator.
A live visitor counter shows how many people are here right now, counted by the pixel. A sales counter adds the bigger picture: how many bought today. Both stay hidden until the number is worth showing.
Reviews rotate next to the price and the add-to-cart button, not buried at the bottom of the page. Stars, a name, two lines. Only reviews customers actually wrote.
An email collector on exit intent, a countdown for a deadline that is real, a coupon for the hesitant. Every lead lands in your dashboard and can ping you on Slack, Discord, Telegram, Teams, email or a webhook.
Fake popups are a liability. Real ones are an asset.
Social proof only works if it is true. On Aug 14, 2024 the US Federal Trade Commission announced a final rule banning fake reviews and testimonials, and inventing sales or visitor counts is deceptive advertising anyway.
Your real key appears in the dashboard under Campaigns, Install pixel. Full install guide.
How it works
Five minutes, told by Tilly.
From empty dashboard to your first real popup. The long version lives on how it works.
Minute 1
Paste one line
Create a campaign for your site and paste its pixel before </head>. Shopify, WordPress, Wix and friends each have a two-minute guide.
Done. That was it?
Minute 2
Pick a widget
Start with the one that matches your goal: recent sales for stores, live counter for busy pages, email collector for lists.
Recent sales, please.
Minute 4
Connect real data
Point your store or form tool at the widget webhook, or switch on auto capture for your own forms. Until data arrives, the widget shows text you wrote, so keep it true.
Orders are flowing in.
Minute 5
Choose the moment
Delay, scroll, exit intent, time on site, clicks. Then where: pages, countries, devices, languages, schedule.
Product pages only, after 6 seconds.
Week 1
Watch what works
Impressions, hovers, clicks, CTR and conversions per widget and page. Keep the winners, pause the rest.
The coupon on exit is winning.
What customers will say
We are new. We will not fake this part.
These cards are clearly marked samples that show the kind of results people set out to get. As real customers send reviews, they replace these, with names and permission.
Sample review, illustrative only
"The recent sales popup finally made our candle shop feel busy on a Tuesday morning."
Sample store owner Home goods store · uses Recent sales popup
Sample review, illustrative only
"Exit-intent email collector plus a Slack alert, and I stopped losing launch-week leads."

What is a social proof notification?
A social proof notification is a small popup on a website that shows what other people are doing: a recent purchase, how many visitors are online, a review or a signup. It reassures new visitors that real people trust the site. AutoSocialProof shows 16 types of these widgets from one line of code.
Do sales popups actually work?
They work when the activity is real and the timing is respectful. Social proof is one of the best-documented persuasion principles in psychology, but results depend on your traffic, offer and placement. We do not publish lift percentages we cannot verify; the built-in analytics show impressions, clicks and conversions per widget so you can measure it on your own site.
Are the notifications real or fake?
Real. Recent-sales and counter widgets are built from conversions you send by webhook, forms the pixel auto-captures, collector widget submissions or data you import. The live counter counts actual visitors seen by the pixel. Our acceptable use policy forbids inventing activity.
How do I install AutoSocialProof?
Create a campaign for your website, copy its pixel line and paste it before the closing head tag. It is one deferred script, so most people are live in about 5 minutes. There are step-by-step guides for Shopify, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, HighLevel and Google Tag Manager.
Does it work with my website builder?
Yes, if your platform lets you add a script to the page head, which almost all do (some only on paid plans). That includes Shopify, WordPress and WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, HighLevel funnels and plain HTML sites.
Will it slow down my website?
The pixel loads with the defer attribute, after your content, so it does not block rendering. Widgets are fetched once per page view and shown only when their trigger fires.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free includes 5 websites, 25 widgets and 100K impressions a month with every widget type. Widgets show a small AutoSocialProof badge on Free.
What happens if I reach my impression limit?
Widgets pause until your next monthly reset or until you upgrade. You are never charged extra automatically.
Is there a lifetime deal?
Yes. Five lifetime tiers from $59, paid once, with a 30-day refund window. Tier N matches exactly what N stacked AppSumo or DealMirror codes give.
Is AutoSocialProof GDPR compliant?
You decide what data each widget shows, collectors can require a consent checkbox, and we offer a data processing agreement. You are the controller for your visitors; we process on your instructions. See the DPA and privacy policy for details.
No question matches that. Try another word, or ask us directly.
Your visitors are already here. Let them see each other.
Paste one line, turn on a widget built from real activity, and watch the analytics tell you what works.
