Analytics
Notification analytics that tell you what to keep
Notification analytics show how each widget performs: impressions, hovers, clicks, CTR, conversions, form submissions and feedback, per date range and per page. Use them to keep the widgets that earn attention and pause the ones that do not.
What does each metric mean?
Definitions as the app uses them, so you can read your dashboard with confidence.
- Impressions
- How many times a widget was shown. Counted against your monthly limit.
- Mouse hovers
- How often visitors paused the pointer on it. A signal of attention on desktop.
- Clicks
- Clicks on the widget or its button.
- CTR
- Clicks divided by impressions, per widget and per date range.
- Conversions
- Conversions recorded for the widget (webhook, auto capture, collectors).
- Form submissions
- Submissions on collector widgets.
- Feedback
- Emoji and score answers, counted per option.
- Page performance
- Pages with the most widget activity and the best conversion rates.
How long is history kept on each plan?
Statistics retention is set by your plan. Conversion data follows the same window.
Need longer? Export to CSV or JSON on any plan.
| Plan | Statistics history |
|---|---|
| Free | 30 days |
| Starter | 90 days |
| Growth | 1 year |
| Agency | 2 years |
| Lifetime Tier 1 | 90 days |
| Lifetime Tier 2 | 180 days |
| Lifetime Tier 3 | 1 year |
| Lifetime Tier 4 | 1 year |
| Lifetime Tier 5 | 2 years |
How should you read the numbers?
- Start with CTR, not impressions. A widget that is seen a lot but never clicked is noise.
- Compare like with like. A coupon on exit intent and a review on a product page do different jobs.
- Check page performance. Move widgets from pages where they do nothing to pages where they convert.
- Change one thing at a time (trigger, copy or position) and give it a week of traffic.
Analytics questions
What does notification analytics measure?
Notification analytics measures how each widget performs: impressions, mouse hovers, clicks, click-through rate, conversions, form submissions and feedback answers, by date range, plus which pages produce the most activity.
What counts as an impression?
An impression is one display of a widget to a visitor. Impressions count toward your plan's monthly limit, which resets every calendar month.
How long are statistics kept?
It depends on the plan, from 30 days on Free to two years on Agency and Lifetime Tier 5. The table on this page shows every plan.
Can I export the data?
Yes. Statistics and collected data can be exported as CSV, JSON or PDF on every plan.
Do you send reports by email?
Paid plans can switch on weekly email reports for each campaign. They require email delivery to be configured on the app side.
Does AutoSocialProof replace Google Analytics?
No. It measures the widgets: what they showed and what visitors did with them. Keep your web analytics for traffic sources and full funnels.
How do I know if a widget increases sales?
Compare conversion rates on pages with and without the widget over the same period, or run the widget on half the pages first. Change one setting at a time so you know what made the difference.
Is the analytics data GDPR friendly?
Statistics are about widget interactions. You control what collector widgets ask for and how long data is retained by your plan; see the DPA for processing details.

Measure it on your own traffic. Free plan included.
